AI – First Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital content company seeking an AI-First Product Manager based in Costa Rica. Our client is an established international product development organization with a focus on creator tools and subscription-based platforms.

This is a remote role offering a high degree of autonomy and ownership. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams across multiple countries, driving product strategy through AI-powered workflows and rapid experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Apply Agile and Scrum principles while planning and managing project timelines, releases, and rollouts
• Research, evaluate, and validate new product ideas aligned with company OKRs and overall product strategy
• Define clear, well-structured product requirements and communicate them effectively to development teams, including technical context and feedback
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage dependencies, align priorities, and ensure smooth feature delivery
• Scope resources, prioritize backlog items, and define sprint goals while monitoring progress and removing blockers
• Design and execute A/B tests, monitor product usage, and continuously optimize creator tools based on data insights
• Rapidly prototype product concepts using AI-powered tools, validate ideas with users and data, and iterate quickly based on feedback
• Implement tracking, build reports and dashboards, and continuously optimize user flows based on data insights
• Understand and track stakeholder KPIs, communicate performance insights, and adapt messaging for different audiences
• Stay current with industry trends and conduct competitive analysis across niche and mainstream markets

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a web development environment
• Strong hands-on experience using AI tools as part of day-to-day product management workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, or similar)
• Proven ability to rapidly prototype product concepts using AI-powered tools and validate ideas with users and data
• Strong product thinking with the ability to identify high-impact opportunities, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives from discovery to validation
• Data-driven approach to decision-making, including experience with product analytics, experimentation, and performance measurement
• Experience with subscription-based products is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of OKR frameworks, outcome-driven product development, and modern product operating models
• Comfortable working in AI-first product development environments where prototypes and rapid experimentation accelerate delivery
• Solid technical understanding of modern development workflows, tools, and engineering concepts
• Skilled in writing clear, structured, and actionable product requirements optimized for both human collaboration and AI-assisted workflows
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• User-first mindset with strong focus on customer behavior and business impact
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
• Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in rapidly evolving environments
