Project Manager

TheHiveCareers is recruiting a Project Manager for our team based in Saint Kitts and Nevis. This is a full-time position where you'll lead delivery of complex projects, guide cross-functional teams through Agile transformation, and help shape how we approach project execution across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of medium and large work packages—from conception through successful completion using Agile principles.
• Run Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily check-ins, and retrospectives to keep teams aligned and iterating.
• Work closely with stakeholders to establish clear scope, prioritize deliverables, and align projects with organizational strategy.
• Track project health, surface risks early, and deploy mitigation tactics to keep initiatives on track.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation—roadmaps, schedules, and progress summaries.
• Partner with product ownership and engineering to refine backlogs and sequence work effectively.
• Oversee handoffs and interdependencies across multiple teams and concurrent initiatives.
• Champion process improvement by reviewing metrics and embedding Agile best practices into team workflows.
• Uphold organizational standards, compliance requirements, and governance structures.
• Build team capability by coaching others in Agile philosophies and day-to-day practices.
• Manage stakeholder relationships through transparent, proactive communication at all organizational levels.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years managing projects with Agile methodologies.
• A PMP certification (required).
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Hands-on experience delivering medium and large-scale projects to successful closure.
• Experience operating within distributed or cross-functional team structures.
• Comfortable using Agile tools—Jira, Confluence, Trello, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with flexibility when priorities shift.
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder relationship abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage budgets, schedules, and resource deployment.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and DevOps culture (valued).
• Additional Agile certifications like Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist (preferred).
• A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A master's degree (advantageous).
• In-depth grasp of Agile principles, frameworks, and established best practices.
• Solid grounding in project governance, risk mitigation, and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of continuous business improvement and organizational change approaches.
• Capability in capacity forecasting, resource planning, and cost oversight.
• Awareness of emerging developments in Agile, digital transformation, and project delivery innovation.
