ServiceNow Application Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an experienced ServiceNow Application Developer to join their team on a 100% remote basis. This full-time, direct W2 role offers the opportunity to build and maintain enterprise solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications while working with a well-established firm known for delivering cloud and enterprise solutions nationwide.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on hands-on configuration and development of ServiceNow solutions, including:

• Building and maintaining workflows using Flow Designer and traditional workflow tools
• Developing Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies
• Creating and customizing Service Portal widgets to enhance user experience
• Implementing integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
• Extending the platform while applying best practices that ensure upgrade-safe, performant solutions
• Working with IntegrationHub to connect ServiceNow with external systems
• Maintaining the ServiceNow data model and CMDB architecture
• Writing maintainable, clean code that supports long-term platform stability

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with production implementations
• Strong JavaScript proficiency including ES5/ES6 patterns used within ServiceNow
• Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies
• Proven experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
• Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts
• Experience developing Service Portal widgets
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
• Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates welcome; new H-1B sponsorship not available)

Preferred qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Implementation Specialist credentials in ITSM, HR, CSM, or ITOM
• Experience with Now Assist or GenAI Controller features
• Familiarity with App Engine Studio
• Exposure to multi-instance ServiceNow environments

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $100,000–$150,000 annually. This is a full-time, direct W2 position based 100% remote within the United States.
