Software Implementation Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a growing SaaS organization that specializes in compliance and training solutions. Our client is seeking a Software Implementation Specialist to join their team in Canada and lead the onboarding experience for new customers across diverse industries.

This is a remote-friendly role based in Canada that requires occasional flexibility to support clients across multiple time zones. You'll be the guide who helps organizations successfully adopt complex software, ensuring they're set up for long-term success from day one.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new clients, from kickoff through successful platform adoption
• Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions customized to each client's workflows and business processes
• Configure client environments including training matrices, user setup, and implementation requirements
• Support data migration efforts, helping clients transition historical records from legacy systems
• Manage onboarding timelines, coordinating training schedules, project milestones, and follow-up meetings
• Build trusted relationships with client administrators, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the onboarding journey
• Provide responsive, solution-focused support via phone and email during the implementation phase
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve implementation challenges and enhance the client experience
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, documentation, and educational resources
• Drive successful adoption, ensuring clients are positioned for long-term platform success

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Client Onboarding, Software Implementation, Training, or similar client-facing roles
• Proven experience working with SaaS platforms or technology products
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client implementations and projects simultaneously
• Experience onboarding mid-market and/or enterprise clients
• Strong technical aptitude with confidence learning new software systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport quickly with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Proactive problem-solving approach and composure under pressure

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with change management or data migration projects
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• French and/or Spanish language proficiency
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), HRIS, EHS, or compliance software
