About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software development firm based in Canada that is seeking a Product & Project Manager – AI to join their team. Our client specializes in custom application development and has built a strong reputation for delivering digital solutions that users genuinely love.

This role combines product and agile project management with hands-on AI prototyping. You'll coordinate projects across design and development teams, working directly with clients to deliver solutions that are tested and validated before full-scale development begins.

Responsibilities

• Receive, evaluate, and manage client requests while maintaining alignment with product strategy
• Serve as a strategic advisor in client relationships
• Rapidly prototype product ideas using generative AI tools to validate hypotheses before involving development teams
• Use AI actively in daily work: generate functional code, write specifications, create mockups, and automate tasks
• Provide strategic consulting on digital transformation and AI initiatives, including maturity assessments, ecosystem mapping, and prioritized transformation roadmaps
• Organize and facilitate workshops with clients and internal teams; conduct interviews and synthesize findings into clear presentations for decision-makers
• Establish measurable objectives, analyze data and KPIs, and provide feedback to the team
• Manage project budgets and timelines, making appropriate decisions when they are impacted
• Manage and prioritize the product and design backlog in collaboration with team leads (writing epics, user stories, etc.)
• Oversee the quality assurance process while actively participating in it
• Monitor the product lifecycle from conception through delivery and maintenance
• Ensure constant alignment between deliverables and product vision

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project management and/or digital product management
• Relevant experience in software development
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology and agile practices
• Strong knowledge of management tools (e.g., Jira, Harvest, Forecast)
• Excellent communication skills to ensure collaboration and alignment between clients and teams
• Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written
• Active use of AI in your current work
• Comfort with "vibe coding": ability to direct an AI development agent to produce functional prototypes quickly, with enough understanding to validate quality
• Strong knowledge of UX/UI design concepts and Figma

Significant advantages:

• Expertise in digital strategy and data analytics
• Knowledge of the retail industry, loyalty programs, marketing strategies specific to this sector, and gamification of digital products
• Strong interest in transactional applications and customer experience in retail contexts

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait for everything to be perfect before testing an idea—someone who prototypes before planning and proposes proactive rather than reactive solutions. You should have both client-facing polish and technical depth.
