Solutions Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client that is building AI-native financial software for modern accounting and finance teams. Our talent team is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join their growing go-to-market organization. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technical product expertise and customer engagement, helping prospects evaluate sophisticated ERP solutions.

This position is remote within the United States, with optional access to offices in New York City or San Francisco. The client operates with a hybrid model (in-office Tuesdays, Thursdays, plus one flexible day) for those near office locations.

Responsibilities

• Address technical questions and remove technical objections throughout the sales cycle by understanding prospect business requirements and existing technology stacks
• Design and deliver customized product demonstrations, setting up sandbox environments tailored to each prospect's specific use cases
• Serve as a technical consultant during the purchase process, answering the majority of technical questions in real-time without needing to escalate
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide front-line prospect feedback to product and founding teams
• Experiment with different demonstration approaches and develop thoughtful follow-up communications
• Act as a responsive technical advisor to prospective customers throughout their evaluation process
• Represent the company with high customer empathy and structured problem-solving in every prospect interaction

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of accounting industry experience across multiple areas including revenue recognition, month-end close, and multi-entity consolidation
• 2+ years supporting sales cycles through implementation and/or customer support for accounting or financial solutions
• Strong knowledge of the CFO office technology ecosystem
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate conversationally in both written and verbal formats
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining high attention to detail
• Comfort engaging with prospects who have high finance and accounting proficiency
• CPA certification or audit background is a plus

Pay

The client offers an OTE (on-target earnings) range of $200,000 to $280,000 based on location tier, plus equity and benefits. Final compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and role scope.
