Application Consultant

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in Jamaica seeking an experienced Application Consultant. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is partnering with this client to identify professionals who can bridge business needs and technical delivery in enterprise banking environments.

This role is critical to ensuring banking applications are implemented, configured, and supported in ways that drive operational efficiency and meet regulatory standards. You'll work at the intersection of stakeholder needs and technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and functional requirements, translating them into scalable application solutions
• Configure, customize, and enhance enterprise banking applications to support operational efficiency and digital transformation
• Serve as liaison between business users, vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery
• Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and resolving defects and system issues
• Provide production support including issue investigation, root cause analysis, and coordination of fixes to minimize business disruption
• Identify opportunities to optimize application performance, usability, and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with application documentation, release planning, and change management activities

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application consulting, application support, or systems implementation roles
• Proven experience within banking or financial services, including exposure to core banking or digital banking platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Experience supporting UAT, production environments, and post-implementation support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments

Preferred:

• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or security requirements in financial services
• Exposure to vendor-managed or third-party banking applications
