Senior Product Manager – Markt- & Trendanalyse-Plattform (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization in Frankfurt am Main that is building data-driven products powered by generative AI for the retail sector. Our client seeks a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategic roadmap for their market and trend analysis platform—a product used daily by retail customers to gain shopper insights and make smarter merchandising decisions.

You'll work in a collaborative environment with short decision cycles and real ownership, partnering closely with interdisciplinary teams across product, engineering, and data. This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week on-site in Frankfurt am Main.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategic roadmap for a data-driven market and trend analysis platform, ensuring it remains a benchmark for retail insights
• Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives across product, go-to-market, strategy, and development teams with clear value delivery for category management and market research
• Collaborate closely with client-side sales, category management, and market research teams to prioritize use cases such as trend monitoring, assortment optimization, and campaign evaluation
• Own the platform's feature strategy, translating customer analysis, interviews, and test-customer feedback into clear requirements
• Plan sprints with the development team, maintain and prioritize the backlog, and ensure smooth, customer-focused releases
• Prepare product launches and major feature releases alongside sales and marketing—including storyline, positioning, and sales enablement

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Business, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, STEM, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in product management, category management, market research, or business development
• Hands-on experience with data-driven analysis and initial exposure to generative AI
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, confident working with diverse stakeholders

Beneficial (Not Required):

• Experience in retail, consumer goods, or retail tech, ideally with SaaS products in the B2C context
• Basic knowledge of a programming language such as Python
