Accounting Solutions Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for an Accounting Solutions Consultant. Our client is building next-generation financial software that serves accounting and finance teams at high-growth companies. This is a remote opportunity available to candidates based anywhere in the United States.

In this role, you will lead customer onboarding and implementation efforts, helping finance teams transition to modern systems. You'll work at the intersection of accounting expertise and technology, partnering with customers to ensure successful deployments while collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead key components of customer onboarding and implementation, ensuring smooth and timely deployments
• Analyze client accounting and finance workflows, translating business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions
• Guide customers through onboarding, training, change management, and system adoption
• Support data migration efforts, reconciliations, systems configuration, and integration coordination
• Track project milestones, maintain accountability, and keep internal and external stakeholders aligned throughout implementations
• Identify risks proactively, escalate issues appropriately, and help ensure successful customer launches
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to resolve customer challenges quickly
• Build trusted relationships with customers through responsive, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented engagement
• Maintain clear documentation and provide regular status updates to customers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

• 4-7 years of experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or related customer-facing roles
• Strong accounting foundation with credible knowledge of close processes, reconciliations, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and core finance workflows
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence to work directly with customers and senior stakeholders
• Systems-minded approach and enthusiasm for implementation work, even if you haven't formally held an implementation title
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
• Comfort operating in fast-paced environments while maintaining high attention to detail
• Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
• Big 4, SaaS, or technology company background is a plus
