Subtitle QC Editor (Korean)

Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Subtitle QC Editor (Korean) to join our team in Seoul, South Korea. In this full-time role, you'll ensure the highest quality standards for Korean subtitle content across our media projects.

Position Summary

As our Subtitle QC Editor (Korean), you'll play a critical role in our content localization pipeline. You'll review, verify, and enhance Korean subtitle translations and implementations, ensuring they meet our rigorous quality standards for accuracy, timing, formatting, and cultural appropriateness. This position requires a keen eye for detail and fluency in Korean to catch errors that would otherwise reach our audiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Review and quality-check Korean subtitle files for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines
• Verify timing synchronization between subtitle text and video content
• Identify and correct translation errors, terminology inconsistencies, and formatting issues
• Check compliance with subtitle platform specifications and technical requirements
• Provide constructive feedback to translators and content teams on subtitle quality improvements
• Maintain detailed QC reports documenting findings and corrections
• Collaborate with project managers and localization teams to resolve subtitle-related issues

What You Bring

• Native or near-native fluency in Korean, with excellent written communication skills
• Proven experience as a subtitle editor, QC specialist, or similar quality-assurance role in media or localization
• Strong understanding of subtitle formats, timing, and technical specifications
• Attention to detail and ability to identify errors in context and meaning
• Familiarity with subtitle editing tools and video playback software
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Experience in media, broadcast, streaming, or localization industries is valued
