Financial Analyst

JSL Technologies is hiring a full-time Financial Analyst in Port Hueneme, Ventura County, to support the financial backbone of mission-critical Department of Defense programs.

About the Role

As a Financial Analyst at JSL Technologies, you will play a key part in keeping our government contracting operations financially sound and audit-ready. Based on-site in Port Hueneme, California, you will turn data into clear, actionable insight that helps program leaders make confident, cost-effective decisions across our engineering, logistics, and program support work.

Key Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report on program and project financial performance
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support DoD contracts
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities for efficient, practical spending
• Compile financial reports and summaries for management and stakeholders
• Support compliance with government contracting financial standards and audits
• Collaborate with program teams to align resources with mission objectives

Qualifications

• Background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical skills with confidence handling budgets, forecasts, and cost data
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting tools
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work on-site in Port Hueneme, Ventura County, on a full-time basis
• Familiarity with government or DoD contracting is a plus
