Position Summary
As a Media QC Operator, you will play a critical role in our production workflow, performing detailed quality assurance reviews on media content before delivery to clients and end-users. Working on-site in our Cairo facility, you will use industry-standard tools and your technical expertise to identify and flag any issues that fall short of our rigorous quality standards, ensuring every project meets both technical specifications and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review media files across multiple formats and codecs for technical compliance and quality standards
- Perform comprehensive testing of audio, video, and colour specifications against project requirements
- Identify and document defects, compression artifacts, sync issues, and compliance violations
- Verify file metadata, naming conventions, and delivery specifications
- Communicate findings clearly to production and technical teams to enable rapid remediation
- Maintain detailed QC logs and reports documenting all reviewed assets and results
- Collaborate with post-production and delivery teams to resolve quality issues
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in media quality control, broadcast quality assurance, or similar QC role
- Strong technical knowledge of video codecs, audio standards, and digital media specifications
- Proficiency with QC software and media inspection tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadline pressure
- Understanding of colour grading, audio mixing, and post-production workflows
- Clear communication skills and ability to document findings precisely
- Familiarity with broadcast or streaming delivery standards is advantageous
