The Opportunity
This position offers a chance to play a critical role in content quality across two major Asian markets. As a Chinese and Korean QC Editor, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and consistency of content as it moves through our production pipeline. Your expertise in both languages will directly impact the experience of users and stakeholders who rely on our localized materials. You'll work closely with translation teams, content creators, and project managers to achieve excellence at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Review and edit content in Chinese and Korean for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and cultural appropriateness
- Verify adherence to brand voice, tone, and established style guidelines across all projects
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on translated and localized materials before publication
- Identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, terminology, and formatting
- Collaborate with translation teams and stakeholders to resolve content issues and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of edits and quality issues for process improvement
- Support project timelines by delivering comprehensive QC reviews efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese and Korean languages
- Proven experience in quality assurance, copyediting, or content review roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle language inconsistencies
- Familiarity with content management systems, localization workflows, or translation tools
- Excellent communication skills in English for collaboration with international teams
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
- Understanding of cultural nuances relevant to Chinese and Korean-speaking markets
