What This Role Involves

As a Korean to English QC Editor at Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC, you'll serve as the final quality checkpoint for translated and localized content. Your expertise will safeguard every project before client delivery—catching language errors, inconsistencies, cultural gaps, and technical issues that impact quality. Whether reviewing marketing materials, software interfaces, multimedia assets, or technical documentation, you'll combine linguistic precision with editorial judgment. You'll collaborate with translators, project managers, and clients to maintain rigorous standards and deliver content that reads naturally to English audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Korean-to-English translations for accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness
• Verify terminology consistency using translation memories and established style guides
• Check formatting, technical elements, and localization integrity in source files
• Provide actionable feedback to translators and coordinate quality revisions
• Document QC findings and maintain detailed quality assurance records
• Deliver polished translations within tight project schedules

Who We're Looking For

• Native or near-native English speaker with fluent Korean language proficiency
• Demonstrated experience as a QC editor, professional translator, or language specialist
• Comprehensive knowledge of English grammar, style conventions, and localization principles
• Hands-on experience with translation software and CAT tools (SDL Trados, memoQ, or equivalent)
• Exceptional eye for detail and ability to identify errors in context
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines
• Located in or able to work on-site in Seoul, South Korea
