SMB Account Executive

Join Delivery Hero as an SMB Account Executive based in Neo Irakleio, Greece. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive growth across a dynamic portfolio of small and medium-sized business clients, building lasting partnerships and expanding Delivery Hero's presence in the region.

Role Overview

As an SMB Account Executive, you'll be the primary point of contact for a diverse client base of restaurant owners, food service operators, and local merchants. Your role combines consultative selling, relationship management, and strategic account growth. You'll identify opportunities to deepen client engagement, introduce new services, and demonstrate the value Delivery Hero brings to each partner's business. This is a hands-on sales position that requires both client-facing communication and internal cross-functional collaboration to ensure client success.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SMB clients, conducting regular check-ins and needs assessments to identify expansion and upsell opportunities
• Present Delivery Hero's platform features, merchant tools, and promotional offerings in ways that address each client's specific business goals
• Coordinate with onboarding, support, and operations teams to resolve client issues and optimise partnership value
• Track sales activities, forecast pipeline, and report on account metrics and growth trajectory
• Develop and execute account strategies to increase client retention, order volume, and lifetime value
• Represent Delivery Hero at local business events and community activities to build brand awareness and generate leads

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or SMB business development
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with restaurant and retail decision-makers
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with the food delivery, hospitality, or e-commerce sectors is advantageous
• Fluency in Greek and English required; additional languages a plus
• Willingness to travel locally within the Neo Irakleio region for client meetings
