The role of a Senior Software Engineer in Developer Enablement at Quantum-Systems GmbH involves driving technical and process evolution across the organization. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Your day-to-day mission includes:
- Mentor and guide software teams toward modern engineering practices (e.g., modern monorepos, automated testing, trunk-based development)
- Bridge the gap between current team capabilities and efficiency goals by understanding their pain points and listening to resistance
- Evaluate and simplify processes to reduce friction in development workflows
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, psychological safety, and iterative learning (Kaizen)
- Evolve the build and CI/CD ecosystem for fast, reliable, and reproducible feedback loops for developers
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A strong background in software engineering with a focus on developer enablement or related fields
- Experience mentoring and guiding teams towards modern engineering practices
- The ability to bridge the gap between current team capabilities and efficiency goals
