We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is transforming care coordination across Europe. Our client operates a sophisticated AI and platform infrastructure serving hundreds of healthcare facilities. As their talent partner, Get A Job.ai is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Platform Engineer to ensure their AI portfolio runs reliably at scale in a highly regulated environment.

This is a remote position based in Germany, offering the opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure that healthcare providers depend on daily.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure AI workloads run reliably and perform optimally in production
• Plan capacity requirements, support scaling initiatives, and maintain system stability as usage grows
• Implement continuous delivery pipelines for machine learning models following AWS best practices
• Partner with AI engineers to productionalize workloads end-to-end, from code through container builds to deployment
• Own technical decisions around infrastructure, collaborating across teams to balance performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve problems systematically under pressure
• Document infrastructure patterns and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• Production experience with AWS services including CloudFormation, IAM, ECR, SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, and KMS
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) production experience with kustomize, HPA, and KEDA-based autoscaling
• Proven track record deploying SageMaker models, setting up custom inference containers (HuggingFace and/or open-source models), and managing endpoints with provisioning, autoscaling, and blue/green rollouts
• Familiarity with observability and LLMOps best practices using tools like Datadog, Langfuse, LLM/GenAI tracing, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch
• Strong Python proficiency, specifically with FastAPI and async task management
• Experience setting up ML/LLM GPU inference on EKS with GPU-backed instances and Nvidia drivers/plugins
• Ability to own technical decisions and collaborate effectively across functional boundaries
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent written communication skills with a preference for clear, asynchronous documentation
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-experts and extract requirements through effective questioning
• English language proficiency required

Bonus Qualifications:

• Healthcare or regulated-domain experience (ISO 27001, C5, or similar)
• Experience with Nvidia Triton, vLLM, or similar inference servers
• Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, ClearML, DVC, or Vertex AI
• Experience building Slack and GitHub automations
• Self-hosting or home lab experience
• Additional European language skills
