HR Manager – Personalentwicklung & Nachwuchsförderung (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential IT services organization in Bremen that is looking for an experienced HR professional to lead talent development and early-career programs.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement people development strategies across the organization
• Manage and mentor apprentices and working students throughout their entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through offboarding
• Develop and refine competency models and skill frameworks
• Conduct employee development conversations and translate insights into concrete learning opportunities and development measures
• Expand people development instruments and processes, leveraging digital tools and AI where they add genuine value
• Partner with leadership on development topics and personnel matters, providing clear, solution-oriented support
• Oversee selection processes, contract management, compensation questions, and time tracking for trainees and students
• Lead HR and people development projects independently
• Support the small HR team across functions when priorities demand flexibility

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of professional experience in people development and/or operational HR
• Mid-market company experience is a plus; we value pragmatic problem-solving and comfort with short decision paths
• Genuine interest in connecting with people and addressing difficult topics openly and respectfully
• Strong blend of strategic thinking and implementation drive
• Excellent communication and consulting skills—you can bring diverse perspectives together and remain clear and respectful even during challenging conversations
• Interest in IT, digitalization, and AI applications in HR
• Initiative and persistence—you stay committed to topics even when change takes time
• Pragmatic mindset: you don't wait for the perfect solution but find a good one and execute it

Position Details

This is a full-time or part-time position (minimum 30 hours per week) based in Bremen. The role offers up to 60% remote work flexibility, along with benefits including mobile hardware, corporate fitness membership, benefits card, bike leasing, and company pension plan.
