Senior Full Stack Engineer / Lead Engineer (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization based in Stuttgart that is building modern web platforms to help enterprises navigate complex EU regulatory requirements. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Full Stack Engineer / Lead Engineer who can take ownership of complete features and help shape a scalable, production-grade platform.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of features from concept through implementation, deployment, and operations
• Build scalable, maintainable web applications using modern technologies including Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS
• Design clean architectures, modular systems, and APIs with a focus on performance, security, and stability
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions), ensuring automated testing, review processes, and stable deployment strategies
• Implement and enforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability to deliver production-ready systems
• Contribute to project leadership by structuring requirements, prioritizing tasks, coordinating alignment meetings, and tracking timelines

What We're Looking For

• Several years of practical experience as a software engineer working on production web applications
• Strong foundation in TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystems
• Experience designing and evolving larger codebases with clear structural and quality standards
• Familiarity working with distributed systems, multiple environments, and stable release processes
• Proven ability to balance quality, speed, and complexity in real product requirements
• Experience providing technical guidance to developers, including mentoring, feedback, and constructive code reviews
• Clear, structured communication skills, even when explaining complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-directed, reliable work style with a strong sense of quality and ownership
• German language skills preferred for this Stuttgart-based role
