Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Finance Solutions

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in the enterprise software sector, and we're seeking a Senior Consultant to lead finance transformation initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Advise clients on business intelligence, corporate planning, and consolidation solutions
• Analyze requirements in collaboration with finance, controlling, and corporate accounting teams
• Design solution architectures and concepts based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system specifications
• Model and implement OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems
• Develop and optimize data integrations from ERP, financial, and upstream systems
• Guide client projects from conception through to go-live
• Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and client presentations
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement of existing client solutions
• Support pre-sales activities, solution concepts, and client presentations

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings deep finance expertise combined with strong consulting skills:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence, financial planning, and corporate consolidation
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes
• Practical experience analyzing and optimizing finance and controlling processes
• Excellent communication skills and confident presence when engaging with clients and business stakeholders
• Analytical and structured working style with high degree of autonomy
• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems
• Fluent German language skills for optimal client consulting and team communication
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and workshops (approximately once monthly)
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1 is a strong plus
