(Senior) Software Developer Frontend / React (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking an experienced full-stack developer with strong frontend capabilities. In this role, you will:

• Develop features and improvements across the full technology stack, working with backend frameworks (Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI) and frontend technologies (React, TypeScript)
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
• Collaborate closely with development teams and coordinate with product management, UX designers, and sales stakeholders
• Drive adoption of AI-first development practices by exploring new tools, sharing best practices, and helping integrate AI capabilities into daily workflows
• Support technical documentation of the product and codebase
• Conduct AI-assisted code reviews and help guide ticket distribution and development process steering

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a developer who combines technical depth with collaborative skills:

• Completed degree in computer science or related IT field, or vocational training as an IT specialist in application development
• At least 3 years of full-time professional experience working across backend and frontend development
• Strong Python experience with Django and Django REST Framework; FastAPI experience is a plus
• Confidence designing and developing REST APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM-based data modeling
• Hands-on React experience building single-page applications; proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6 standard library
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Ant Design or Material UI is advantageous
• Routine use of AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or comparable) with the ability to critically assess their output
• Enthusiasm for shaping an AI-first development culture through experimentation and knowledge sharing
• Comfort working both remotely and on-site in Saarbrücken to foster team collaboration
