Accounting Manager, Tokenized Equities

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital asset organization that is launching a tokenized securities product through a regulated financial center in Abu Dhabi. This is a remote-first Accounting Manager role for someone who thrives on building new finance infrastructure from the ground up.

You'll serve as the finance lead for this product, establishing the complete accounting and reporting framework—from policy and controls through regulatory filings and audit coordination. This is a senior individual contributor position requiring deep technical accounting expertise, regulatory fluency, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Build the end-to-end accounting model covering token issuance and redemption, asset tracking, intercompany flows, and the month-end close process
• Own regulatory compliance and reporting to the FSRA, including maintaining regulator relationships, building controlled reporting processes, and responding to ad hoc inquiries
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data teams to ensure new flows are accurate, controlled, and scalable before launch
• Sign off on fund flows, posting rules, account setup, ledger structure, reconciliations, and reporting frameworks
• Lead accounting analysis for complex structures under US GAAP and IFRS, including treatment of dividends, splits, and balance sheet classification
• Establish the reporting framework for the issuer entity, including annual audited IFRS financials, local filings, and external audit coordination
• Design and implement a control environment suitable for a regulated launch—audit trails, books and records, and data integrity across on-chain and off-chain systems
• Identify accounting, controls, and reporting risks early and ensure clear ownership and mitigation plans

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation strongly preferred
• Significant accounting or finance experience in a regulated environment such as capital markets, broker-dealer, exchange, custody, clearing, or digital assets
• Direct experience working with a financial regulator through inquiries, examinations, or regulatory filings
• Proven ability to apply accounting standards to new or complex products and structures
• Track record of building new finance processes for a new product, entity, or regulatory regime
• Strong controls mindset with the ability to influence system design before launch
• Clear communication skills and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Familiarity with the FSRA regulatory framework and rulebook
• Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools in daily workflows while maintaining human oversight and delivering business-ready outputs
