Senior Digital Campaign Manager (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Senior Digital Campaign Manager to join their team in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will take ownership of the setup and management of digital campaigns across multiple ad-serving platforms including Campaign Manager 360 and Adform.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Campaign Execution: Set up, launch, and manage digital campaigns ensuring optimal technical workflows between external media vendors, ad servers, and third-party providers such as Nielsen, IAS, and DoubleVerify.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with planning, consulting, investment management colleagues, and specialized teams for SEA, social media, and programmatic advertising.
• Creative Coordination: Coordinate with creative agencies to produce planned advertising materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze campaign performance, optimize to increase campaign effectiveness, and control pacing to ensure booked delivery targets are met.
• Reporting and Insights: Create campaign reports based on defined KPIs, derive actionable learnings, and develop long-term optimization strategies.
• Client Advisory: Provide confident guidance to internal client teams on campaign optimization and independently develop well-founded recommendations.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in digital campaign management combined with technical aptitude and analytical skills:

• Education: Completed university degree (preferably STEM, Business Administration, or Economics) or comparable qualification.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the online space as an ad/campaign manager with deep familiarity with relevant online KPIs and their optimization.
• Ad Tech Expertise: Reporting experience with platforms such as Sizmek, DCM, or Adform, plus knowledge of third-party providers like Nielsen, DoubleVerify, and IAS for viewability and brand safety.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to assess and troubleshoot technical setups.
• Analytical Tools: Very strong Office 365 skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) combined with high numerical affinity and analytical understanding.
• Language: Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Personal Qualities: Team-oriented, communicative, and reliable.
