Responsibilities

We are representing a leading media and marketing organization in Düsseldorf seeking a Working Student (m/f/d) Market and Media Research to join their Insights team. This role offers deep exposure to market and media research projects while supporting the future of media planning.

In this position, you will:

• Support research projects: Assist with administrative and commercial aspects of research initiatives, maintain project lists, and monitor status and deadlines.
• Handle communications: Serve as a contact point for business partners on administrative inquiries, sending out results reports and important documents on schedule.
• Manage contracts: Create contract documents from templates using tools like Adobe Sign and initiate invoicing processes.
• Prepare materials: Edit and format results reports and presentations in both German and English, and contribute to industry reports.
• Conduct research: Perform independent research activities and gain practical insights into agency life and the role of research in media planning.
• Collaborate across teams: Work within a motivated team with flat hierarchies, supporting diverse requirements from various partners and departments.

What We're Looking For

• Academic background: Currently enrolled in at least your third semester studying Economics, Social Sciences, Media, or Communication Studies, with at least one year of study remaining.
• Organizational skills: Strong organizational talent with a careful, structured, and proactive working style.
• Interest and experience: Genuine interest in research projects and administrative processes, ideally complemented by initial practical office experience.
• MS Office proficiency: Confident handling of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Language skills: Good command of English, both written and spoken, for communication in an international environment. German fluency required.
• Communication strength: Team-oriented, sociable, and confident in communicating with external business partners.
