Senior SDET – GovTech Industry

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the GovTech sector. This organization has spent over two decades building SaaS solutions that help public sector entities modernize operations and better serve their communities. They're now expanding their engineering capabilities across Latin America, and we're seeking a Senior SDET to join this growth initiative.

This is a remote role open to candidates across LATAM. You'll be instrumental in building automated test coverage across a portfolio of 20+ products, leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools, and establishing quality standards that scale across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across multiple SaaS products
• Improve test coverage and proactively identify quality risks in existing applications
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (such as Claude, Copilot) to accelerate test development and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve test failures across application, infrastructure, and data layers
• Reduce flaky tests and improve CI/CD pipeline stability and reliability
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to enhance testability and production confidence
• Establish scalable testing standards, frameworks, and best practices across the product portfolio

What We're Looking For

• Strong programming skills in C#
• Proven experience developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright
• Solid understanding of testing concepts including unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within large, complex codebases
• Experience working in Shift Left and quality-focused engineering environments
• Strong English communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Interest in using AI tools for test generation, refactoring, and coverage analysis
• Basic understanding of LLMs or a strong willingness to learn

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive within the LATAM market, paid in USD.
