QA Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking QA Engineers to join their expert network on a contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on high-volume engineering evaluation and quality assurance work. Our talent team is building a pipeline of experienced QA professionals who can apply rigorous testing methodologies while working with complex technical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios
• Perform both manual and automated testing, documenting all results with clear and reproducible steps
• Identify, log, and systematically track bugs with structured, detailed reporting
• Evaluate and rate technical outputs against established quality criteria and rubrics
• Provide thorough written feedback and annotations to drive continuous quality improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to refine evaluation guidelines and testing standards

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated professional experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or equivalent role
• Strong foundation in QA fundamentals including test case design, bug tracking, regression testing, and both manual and automated testing approaches
• Expertise with test case design methodologies, bug tracking systems, and test management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly through written reports and verbal discussions
• Proactive and self-motivated approach with commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Experience working with human data workflows is a plus
