We are representing a confidential technology client in their search for a Research Analyst - Data Annotation. This is a remote contract role based in the United States, offering an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge multimodal AI evaluation work.

Our client operates in the artificial intelligence space and requires meticulous research professionals to support their data quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build answer keys for multimodal search evaluation datasets
• Review photos, screenshots, documents, and conversations to define correct answer criteria
• Write scoring standards and ground truth documentation rather than scoring model outputs
• Identify and record exact names, titles, models, venues, products, and public figures
• Transcribe facts, labels, and values with precision from source materials
• Read full conversation threads before establishing ground truth for final turns

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Exceptional precision with names, numbers, and factual details
• Strong research skills with ability to investigate unfamiliar subjects and determine correct formal terminology
• Demonstrated ability to follow written specifications exactly as provided
• Prior experience in annotation, ground truth creation, search relevance evaluation, cataloguing, or fact-checking
