Business Operations Lead Analyst (Scores)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential analytics software organization seeking a Business Operations Lead Analyst to join their Scores division. This is a high-impact role at the center of revenue protection and business intelligence for an expanding partner ecosystem. You'll own complex analysis, strengthen automated quality controls, and deliver strategic insights that drive executive decision-making across credit reporting agencies and new distribution channels.

This position offers genuine opportunity to shape analytical standards, improve operational processes, and scale data integrity practices as the business grows. You'll work directly with Finance, Technology, and C-suite stakeholders in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own royalty and revenue recognition analysis across credit reporting agencies and new partners, building and automating quality checks and reconciliations that protect reporting accuracy
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Technology teams, and executive leadership to deliver critical reporting and analysis initiatives
• Respond to increasing internal demands for data, reporting, and actionable insights as the business scales
• Apply senior-level expertise in data extraction, management, and pipelining to support growing analytics requirements
• Standardize analytical approaches and actively refine ETLA (Extract, Transform, Load, and Analyze) processes to improve team efficiency and consistency
• Determine optimal delivery methods for insights—dashboards, reports, or ad-hoc recommendations—to ensure data drives business decisions
• Lead ad-hoc projects and analyses while maintaining strict confidentiality with sensitive client and partner information

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in finance, fintech, or banking, with familiarity handling financial data and bureau data
• Successful track record in analytical or business intelligence roles, with demonstrated ability to transform complex, ambiguous data into clear, actionable insights for business users and leadership
• Significant expertise in active data extraction and management, able to mentor others as a senior technical resource
• Strong hands-on technical skills: SQL, Snowflake, Python for data analysis and pipeline development, advanced Excel, and BI/visualization tools such as Tableau
• Senior-level proficiency with ETLA processes, query writing, and data ownership/management
• Inquisitive, detail-oriented mindset with ability to independently research large, complex datasets, identify trends and anomalies, review contracts for revenue-impacting terms, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
• Strong critical thinking and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience independently owning complex, ambiguous analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay

The targeted compensation range for this position is $84,000 to $132,000, reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
