About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential UK-based ecommerce client seeking a Customer Service and Ecommerce Operations Specialist to join their team remotely from the Philippines. This is a work-from-home position operating on UK business hours.

Our client is a premium direct-to-consumer brand serving a discerning customer base that values personalized, thoughtful service. This role combines hands-on customer support with ecommerce operations and process improvement work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Managing customer inquiries, complaints, and product fit/sizing questions through helpdesk and chat platforms
• Processing and troubleshooting returns through the client's portal system, including items missing in transit and damaged goods coordination
• Monitoring and responding to customer reviews across multiple platforms
• Uploading new products to Shopify and maintaining accuracy of product data, descriptions, images, and stock status
• Supporting seasonal catalogue launches and content management
• Reviewing AI-generated customer responses for quality and brand tone
• Improving help center content, macros, and automation to increase efficiency while protecting customer experience
• Providing limited administrative support including document preparation, research, and scheduling (approximately 4-6 hours weekly)
• Tracking monthly return patterns and fit issues to support product-level improvements

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Excellent written English with warmth, clarity, and accuracy
• Previous customer service experience with direct-to-consumer ecommerce or retail brands, ideally serving UK or US customers
• Experience using helpdesk platforms such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Re:amaze or similar
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and raises issues early
• Confident and comfortable in customer-facing interactions
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools as part of daily workflow
• Affinity for serving customers who expect personalized, unhurried service

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of Shopify (training will be provided)
• Exposure to Canva or similar design tools
