Senior .NET CoreDB Full stack Lead Developer with Azure – Full Remote – Contract

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Senior.NET Core Full Stack Lead Developer with Azure for a long-term contract engagement. This is a fully remote position working US hours (Washington time zone). Our client has an urgent need and requires candidates who can start within 2 to 4 weeks.

This is a contract role requiring 8 hours per day aligned with Washington business hours. The position offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives on an international project while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Transform functional specifications into high-quality technical designs and well-tested applications that meet business logic, performance, and usability requirements
• Develop and unit test code to meet business and system requirements
• Conduct peer reviews of code and test cases to assess quality and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Perform end-user demonstrations of proposed solutions and finished products; provide training and support for user acceptance testing
• Troubleshoot production support issues and deliver solutions within defined SLAs to minimize business disruption
• Ensure organizational policies, procedures, and standards are integrated into project design and development
• Manage integration between on-premises systems, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors
• Prepare weekly status reports, participate in status meetings, and proactively communicate issues that may impact delivery timelines
• Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
• Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions including reference architectures and cost estimates
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and QA teams to obtain necessary approvals and accreditations
• Establish standards and best practices for the development team
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to other team members
• Lead the team through upgrade processes and implementation activities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with.NET Core middleware development using C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ
• Strong experience writing code for container-based applications
• Expertise in microservices design and S.O.L.I.D. principles
• Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and solution design
• Proficiency with repository management (branching, merging, tags, labels)
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud-based technology and environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong documentation abilities
• Well-organized and detail-oriented approach to work
• Fluent in English (required for this role)
• Microsoft Azure or development-related certifications are a plus
• Ability to work 8 hours per day during Washington (US) business hours
• Available to start within 2 to 4 weeks
