About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the digital parking technology sector. They operate advanced camera-based parking systems across Europe and are seeking a Collection Operations & Process Manager to lead and optimize their payment follow-up workflows across multiple markets.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, compliance, and data analytics. You'll own the end-to-end processes that ensure fair and legally compliant collection procedures—from vehicle owner identification through regulatory authorities to customer care coordination and external partner management.

Location: Munich
Work Model: Hybrid (anchor days Tuesday–Thursday, home office flexibility, workation options)
Languages Required: Fluent German and English

Responsibilities

• Oversee automated data flows for vehicle owner identification and payment follow-up processes, developing reliable fallback solutions when structural issues arise
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and local EU regulations, integrating new legal requirements seamlessly into operational workflows
• Support European expansion by adapting collection strategies to new markets and local payment behaviors
• Monitor performance metrics using BI tools, investigate anomalies, and drive data-informed improvements
• Serve as the central point of contact across tech teams, customer success, and external partners for all collection-related matters
• Conduct root-cause analyses to understand trends and implement scalable process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in operations, project management, or process optimization within debt collection, receivables management, or comparable environments
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to perform deep root-cause analyses and challenge the status quo
• Highly data-driven approach with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and common BI platforms
• End-to-end process thinking with focus on scalability and operational excellence
• Hands-on problem-solving mentality and effective stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of data protection and collection regulations, with ability to quickly grasp legal requirements across European markets
• Technical aptitude and comfort working at the intersection of operations and technology
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken
