Senior Collection Operations & Process Manager (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital parking technology organization operating across Europe. We're seeking a Senior Collection Operations & Process Manager to take strategic and operational ownership of their European debt collection workflows. This role sits at the intersection of operations, compliance, and process optimization in a fast-scaling tech environment.

You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of collections processes—from vehicle registration data retrieval through regulatory authorities, to payment demand dispatch, customer care coordination, and external collection partner management across multiple European markets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end strategic and operational accountability for European collections processes, ensuring efficiency, legal compliance, and scalability of vehicle owner data retrieval (license plate and address verification)
• Optimize international workflows for owner data identification and develop flexible new processes and fallback options when facing new local regulations or service provider transitions
• Drive internationalization and continuous automation of payment demand correspondence and physical mail to vehicle owners throughout the EU
• Analyze international payment behaviors strategically and configure collection processes to maximize monetization in each target market
• Serve as internal expert for compliance with European data protection (GDPR) and collections regulations across all processes
• Act as central liaison for Product, Tech, Legal, and Customer Care teams while managing negotiation and technical integration of external partners (mail service providers, collection agencies) from start to finish
• Analyze performance metrics, define process-specific KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Several years of substantial professional experience in operational receivables management, collections environment, credit risk, or operational process management—ideally in a rapidly scaling tech, fintech, or legal-tech setting
• Deep knowledge of European data protection (GDPR) and collections regulations, plus proven negotiation skills and experience managing international service providers and regulatory authorities
• Confident use of BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Metabase, with demonstrated experience defining and implementing process-specific KPIs
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and the drive to deploy them to make collection processes smarter, faster, and more efficient
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Proven experience building cross-border B2C process structures with country-specific expertise
• Demonstrable track record scaling processes during market entry phases
