Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthtech organization based in Berlin that is transforming how frontline healthcare workers spend their time. This well-funded, fast-growing company is building technology that eliminates digital busywork so care professionals can focus on what truly matters.

We are seeking a Head of Data & AI to own and build the internal data foundation and AI platform that will make this organization fully data-driven and AI-native from the inside out.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal AI strategy, 12–24 month roadmap, platform infrastructure (including model access, context layer, evaluations, observability, and cost controls), and keep the organization at the forefront of emerging AI capabilities
• Build and maintain the complete data foundation: ingestion pipelines, cloud warehouse, dbt modeling from staging through marts with comprehensive testing and CI/CD, semantic layer, canonical metric definitions, and self-serve business intelligence
• Deliver AI solutions into business functions by identifying use cases, deploying solutions, and measuring tangible operating impact across departments
• Drive cultural transformation toward data-driven decision-making and AI-powered automation of non-human-essential work
• Manage governance and risk in a regulated healthcare environment, partnering with compliance on privacy, data protection, model risk management, and EU AI Act requirements
• Build and lead the Data and Internal AI function, hiring and managing the team while deciding what stays centralized versus distributed through an AI Champions network

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on data foundation experience: You have personally built and owned a modern data stack including cloud warehouse, dbt implementation from staging through marts with tests and CI, semantic layer, canonical metrics, and self-serve BI—and then scaled it by hiring the right team
• Production AI deployment: You have shipped internal AI or agent solutions into production over a data layer and can discuss adoption metrics, evaluation frameworks, and lessons learned
• Proven business impact: Track record of data or AI initiatives that measurably changed business metrics beyond pilot stage, with concrete numbers you can detail
• Cross-functional effectiveness: Ability to build credibility and work effectively across all departments from Support and Sales to Engineering; skilled at creating champion networks rather than gatekeeping
• Autonomous ownership: Experience owning governance and risk as part of the role (not delegating it), setting priorities in ambiguous environments, and delivering end-to-end solutions before expanding scope
