Chef d’équipe principal des données (Senior Data Team Lead)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Senior Data Team Lead to independently manage end-to-end delivery of data management services across single or multi-service projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients on data management deliverables and provide comprehensive expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team.

In this role, you will:

• Manage multiple large studies or programs of studies, potentially on a global scale, ensuring quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget
• Lead direct negotiations with clients regarding timelines, financial aspects, processes, and resource allocation
• Provide project management expertise working with client data managers, key decision makers, and internal team members to manage continuous process improvements and issue escalation
• Meet regularly with Data Operations Coordinators and team members to ensure milestones meet timelines and quality standards
• Create, review, and sign off on all data management plan (DMP) documents
• Serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues, working independently with client data managers, vendors, and internal team members for resolution
• Implement proactive quality management plans across multiple projects, programs, or customer accounts
• Independently manage statements of work and budgets, review financial reports monthly, and participate in project reviews
• Train and mentor junior team members on data management expertise
• May serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME), customer site lead, or Program Lead as needed

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in health, clinical, biological, mathematical sciences, or related field
• 7+ years of direct data management experience, including 5+ years as a CDM project lead
• Previous experience and proven competence managing delivery of multiple global trials through full data management lifecycle (large trials of at least 1,000 patients)
• Demonstrated expert data management skills and advanced knowledge of the data management process, including therapeutic area expertise, extensive knowledge in DM processes, SAE reconciliation, external data vendor reconciliation, and management of local laboratory data
• Previous experience handling complex customer negotiations and bid defense meetings independently
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical drug development process
• Knowledge of operating procedures and work instructions and ability to apply them in practice
• Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and/or physiology
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
• Strong communication skills in both English and French are required for this position
