About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a leading German IT services organization seeking a Senior Microsoft Cloud Transformation Architect for their Nuremberg location. This role can also be performed from their offices in Hamburg, Münster, Berlin, Mainz, or Bochum.

Our client is a successful systems house group dedicated to innovation and leveraging cutting-edge Microsoft cloud technologies to deliver exceptional service to their enterprise customers. You'll join their Cloud Computing & AI division and lead strategic transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive cloud strategies and guide enterprises through Microsoft Cloud transformation journeys
• Plan, implement, and evolve Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions supporting modern workplace and cloud concepts
• Design, build, and operate identity, device, and compliance solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Purview
• Advise on security, governance, and compliance requirements while developing sustainable target architectures and operational models
• Architect and implement modern collaboration platforms to enhance digital teamwork and productivity
• Create rollout and migration concepts for cloud and modern workplace solutions
• Analyze existing IT landscapes and plan transformation and modernization projects
• Provide technical leadership throughout transformation projects from requirements gathering through concept, implementation, and go-live
• Own architecture for cloud, security, and modern workplace solutions considering scalability, security, and compliance
• Collaborate closely with customers, business units, project teams, and technology partners to execute strategic cloud initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

• Degree in computer science, comparable training, or several years of professional experience
• Multiple years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Deep expertise in Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Purview
• Strong consulting competency and genuine enjoyment working with customers to develop sustainable solutions
• Flexibility and service orientation
• Team player excited about new technologies and approaches
• German language proficiency required for client-facing work

Ideal Microsoft Certifications:

• AZ-305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
• AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator
• MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator
• SC-300 – Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
• AZ-500 – Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (desirable)
• SC-400 – Administering Information Protection and Compliance in Microsoft 365 (desirable)
• AZ-800 – Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (desirable)
