Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT-System Engineer to join our dynamic team at think about IT GmbH in Bochum. As an integral part of the IT-Consulting department, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Windows Server infrastructures for our clients. This role involves incident management, proactive monitoring, system configuration adjustments, and documentation.
Your Responsibilities
- Betriebsverantwortung der Windows Server Infrastruktur unserer Kunden
- Behandlung von Incidents und Service Requests
- Proaktive Überwachung der Windows Server in den Kunden-Umgebungen
- Eigenständige Anpassung von Systemkonfigurationen sowie Erstellung und Ergänzung entsprechender Dokumentationen
- Selbstständige Installation und Projektübernahme im Bereich Windows Server Migration älterer Installationen auf aktuelle Standards inkl. sämtlicher Abhängigkeiten
- Fachliche Beratung von Kunden im Zusammenhang mit dem aktuellen Betriebsszenario
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with an abgeschlossenes technisches Studium or comparable training, along with more than 5 years of relevant experience. You should have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server technologies from version 2008 to 2019, including migration paths and individual services/services. A strong service-oriented and reliable work ethic, as well as excellent German and English language skills, are essential.
