Creative Art Director (m/w/d) – Brand, Packaging & Kampagnen

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential premium health and wellness organization in the Rüsselsheim area. Our client has built a reputation for exceptional quality over more than two decades and is now seeking a Creative Art Director to define and elevate their brand presence across all touchpoints—from packaging and e-commerce to campaigns and point-of-sale materials.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual brand identity and continuously develop brand guidelines, templates, and design systems across all channels
• Design packaging, labels, and product lines from concept through print-ready handoff, working closely with regulatory and production teams
• Develop campaign concepts for online shop, Amazon and marketplace platforms, social media, newsletters, pharmacy, and point-of-sale
• Direct photo and video productions, ensuring all creative output reflects premium brand standards
• Provide creative direction to internal designers and external agency partners while maintaining quality control across all assets
• Lead copywriting and messaging for visual materials, ensuring consistency with brand voice
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strategic oversight and hands-on execution

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in communication design, graphic design, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer, ideally within agency and/or in-house roles in FMCG, health, pharma, or beauty sectors
• Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and campaign work
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of Figma is valuable
• Deep understanding of pre-press processes and print production
• Proven ability to create premium brand aesthetics with strong typography and awareness of current design trends
• Experience with e-commerce assets such as Amazon A+ Content is a significant advantage
• Openness to AI-assisted image and content production tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney) as part of the creative process
• Hands-on mentality combined with strategic thinking—you can envision the big picture while executing precise details
• Fluent German and good English language skills
