Supply Chain Planning Working Student (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client seeking a Supply Chain Planning Working Student for a 12-month engagement in Berlin. In this role, you will support operational and strategic planning activities for physical product operations, working at the intersection of supply chain, product, and culinary teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Menu creation and optimization: Assist in creating and optimizing menus using Python-based planning algorithms
• Product improvement: Work on projects and initiatives focused on improving product offerings to increase customer satisfaction
• Menu de-risking: Lead cross-collaborative initiatives to reduce operational risk and ensure ingredient availability across the end-to-end value chain
• Operations support: Support day-to-day operations and administrative tasks throughout the supply and menu planning process
• Process management: Participate in projects aimed at optimizing, automating, and improving product processes and supply chain workflows
• Reporting: Track weekly performance of menus and recipes, conducting monthly and quarterly performance analyses
• Recipe change management: Select alternative recipes when needed due to ingredient shortages, marketing requirements, or other operational needs
• Database management: Contribute to maintenance of recipe and ingredient databases in alignment with culinary teams
• Customization support: Manage customized menu options to provide customers with greater choice

What We're Looking For

• Currently completing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, ideally with focus on Product Management, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
• Initial experience in product management or supply planning; CPG and e-commerce experience is a plus
• Excellent command of Excel; knowledge of SQL and Python is a strong advantage
• Hands-on mindset and team spirit, comfortable working with diverse teams across departments
• Fluency in English; German language skills are beneficial
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and rigorous approach to work
• Proactive and ambitious mindset with desire to work in a dynamic business environment
• Enthusiasm for the food industry and interest in data analysis
