Key Account Director (German-speaking)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential signage and brand production company that is building out its new business function across Germany. As Key Account Director, you will:

• Proactively identify and win new enterprise brand accounts, from initial outreach through to signed agreements
• Build and own relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and senior marketing leaders across Europe
• Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes involving marketing, retail operations, and procurement teams
• Scope complex physical projects with clients and brief internal delivery experts from day one
• Grow accounts over time through upsell opportunities, repeat orders, and multi-location rollouts
• Represent the organization at relevant trade fairs and industry events, selected strategically

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a hunter with genuine new business expertise in the physical brand solutions space. You should have:

• New business, key account, or sales experience in one of these areas: brand experience agencies, retail or shopper marketing, POS and visual merchandising, shop fitting or trade fair construction, event production with retail clients, or large-format printing companies
• A proven track record selling complex physical builds or projects to enterprise brands
• Hands-on experience navigating procurement processes including tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreements
• A genuine hunter mentality—comfortable building pipeline from scratch and securing meetings with senior decision-makers
• Strong commercial discipline: you manage pipeline systematically and keep complex deals moving forward
• Native-level German is essential; professional English is required

Pay

This is a hybrid, full-time role based in Berlin, Germany. The base salary range is €60,000 to €90,000, depending on experience.
