Senior iOS Engineer – Swift (m|w|d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce technology company in Berlin, and our talent team is searching for a Senior iOS Engineer to join their mobile development organization. This role offers the chance to work on consumer-facing applications that serve millions of users across German-speaking markets.

You'll be part of an autonomous engineering team that owns the full technical lifecycle of iOS products, from architecture decisions through deployment and scale. The environment balances mature Swift practices with opportunities to explore emerging mobile technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical evolution of native iOS applications built with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, data analysts, and backend engineers on a GraphQL-focused API layer
• Participate in agile product development cycles from concept through production deployment
• Refine user interfaces in partnership with UX colleagues to enhance feature quality during implementation
• Apply pragmatic engineering solutions that balance trade-offs and reduce complexity
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction for mobile products
• Mentor team members and scale engineering impact across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Deep understanding of native iOS development with extensive Swift experience
• Strong expertise with UIKit and SwiftUI frameworks
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs (strongly preferred)
• Passion for writing readable, reliable, maintainable, and testable code
• Proven track record as a self-sufficient and well-organized software engineer
• Open and communicative team player who enjoys solving complex technical problems
• Senior-level experience with native mobile development
• Location: Berlin, Germany
