Candidate Outreach Associate Intern

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing talent platform focused on the startup and tech hiring space. Our client is looking for a Candidate Outreach Associate Intern to join their remote team in India. This is a high-volume, high-impact role where you will be the first point of contact for shortlisted candidates, directly influencing conversion rates from profile to interview.

This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time based on performance. You'll be making 100–120 outbound calls per day, building critical skills in recruitment operations and candidate engagement.

Responsibilities

• Make 100–120 outbound calls daily to shortlisted candidates from the database
• Clearly communicate role details, company information, location, and key opportunity highlights to generate candidate interest
• Assess candidate interest, answer basic queries, and professionally address common objections regarding timing, location, and notice periods
• Maintain accurate call logs and update candidate status in tracking systems (contacted, interested, not interested, callback required)
• Follow up via call, WhatsApp, and email to keep candidates engaged through the interview and offer stages
• Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to understand role priorities and share feedback on candidate response patterns

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Excellent communication skills in English and local language with clear speech, polite tone, and confident phone etiquette
• Quick learner who can grasp job details rapidly and explain them simply to candidates
• Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls daily and handling rejection professionally
• Basic computer skills including Google Sheets/Excel, email, and WhatsApp

Preferred:

• Prior experience in BPO, telecalling, sales, or recruitment outreach (not mandatory for interns)
• Experience in IT or non-IT staffing or recruitment coordination
• Familiarity with ATS tools or candidate tracking systems

Role Details and Compensation

Location: India (Remote)

Work Schedule: 9 hours per day, 6 days per week

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension or full-time conversion based on performance)

Pay via Get A Job.ai: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month fixed, plus additional performance-based incentives
