Software Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in their search for an experienced Software Project Manager to lead complex SaaS product deployments. This role requires exceptional project leadership skills and the ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations while coordinating with complex customer stakeholders to ensure successful, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

As Software Project Manager, you will:

• Own comprehensive project plans using automated project management tools, tracking deliverables, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
• Drive on-time delivery of complex deployments by building and maintaining detailed launch plans and continuously measuring progress against aggressive goals
• Proactively identify potential project breakdowns, implement corrective changes, and develop creative solutions to constraints
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, channel partners, subcontractors, and internal staff for all project-related matters
• Establish regular, transparent communication cadences with customers and internal stakeholders through effective meeting facilitation and status reporting
• Perform detailed risk analysis, provide ongoing assessment of project risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to customers and management
• Collaborate with provisioning and product teams to develop enhanced tools, processes, and methodologies that improve collaboration and reduce redundancy
• Ensure successful implementation and professional hand-off of solutions to long-term Support and Success teams

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is a plus
• At least 5 years of project management experience working with SaaS solutions
• Demonstrated success leading agile projects within highly matrixed organizational structures
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate strategic vision while building cross-departmental trust
• Proficiency in developing project documentation and experience with cloud-based document management systems
• Strong business acumen with understanding of business and financial implications of project decisions
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (employer work permit sponsorship is not available)

Preferred qualifications:

• PMP, PMP-ACP, or equivalent agile certifications
• Experience with public safety communications systems and understanding of local public safety customers (police, fire, EMS)
• Familiarity with Monday.com, Salesforce, or Zendesk
