(Senior) Project Manager (m/w/d) – Rooftop PV Systems (Emobility & BESS)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential renewable energy organization based in Frankfurt am Main. They are seeking a (Senior) Project Manager to lead the technical delivery of rooftop photovoltaic systems, often integrated with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and electric mobility infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the energy transition while working with cutting-edge renewable technology.

This role offers hybrid flexibility and the chance to take ownership of projects from technical planning through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of rooftop PV systems (often combined with BESS and/or e-mobility solutions) from planning through construction to client acceptance and service handover
• Manage and coordinate all health, safety, and workplace protection measures throughout project execution
• Ensure project objectives related to timelines and quality standards are met and documented
• Own and optimize project budgets and cost management for each assigned project
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Present project status and progress reports to internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in engineering (e.g., electrical engineering, energy technology) or comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience
• Proven experience as a project manager in plant construction; practical knowledge of rooftop PV systems (>500 kWp) is highly desirable
• Understanding of grid integration for renewable energy systems
• Experience with EPC contracts, client acceptance procedures, system certificates, and commissioning of PV installations
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style
• Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Valid Class B driver's license
