Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SAP logistics organization seeking an experienced ABAP developer with deep expertise in output management and forms. Working remotely from home, you will focus on:
- Designing and implementing complex forms using Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and classic SAPscript
- Developing and optimizing ABAP and ABAP OO programs for form data retrieval and print processing
- Modernizing existing form landscapes, including migrations from SmartForms to Adobe Forms and cloud integration
- Managing interfaces between forms and core business processes (SD, MM, FI/CO) and connecting external output management systems
- Consulting with business departments on layout definitions and technical requirements
- Troubleshooting print environment issues and optimizing performance across the forms infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification with several years of professional SAP development experience
- Strong command of ABAP and ABAP Objects programming languages
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Interactive Forms (Adobe Document Services), SmartForms, and SAPscript – this is essential
- Working knowledge of JavaScript for Adobe Forms logic; familiarity with SAPUI5/Fiori is a plus
- Solid understanding of standard SAP modules (particularly SD, MM, PP) and their print control mechanisms including message determination
- Analytical thinking, quality consciousness, and commitment to thorough documentation
- German language proficiency required for this role
