About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential eMobility technology client in Berlin, Germany. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their cloud-native platform engineering organization. This is an opportunity to work on software that supports electric vehicle charging infrastructure at scale across international markets.
The role offers a hybrid setup with 1-2 days per week onsite in Berlin and remote flexibility within Germany. You'll collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to build secure, high-performing applications using modern cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript
- Build secure REST APIs and responsive user interfaces following clean code and software engineering best practices
- Develop and operate cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure high software quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate throughout the software development lifecycle with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, QA, architects, and DevOps
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while improving application reliability, scalability, and security
- Mentor engineers, contribute to technical discussions, and help establish engineering best practices
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience developing full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS
- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git in cloud-native environments
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks
- Solid knowledge of clean code principles, software design patterns, secure development practices, and performance optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent English (working language)
- Eligibility to work in Germany
