Bosch Group is hiring a Machinery Designer focused on assembly systems for our Curitiba, PR team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to design and develop innovative assembly equipment that optimizes manufacturing operations and drives production excellence.

About This Position

As a Machinery Designer specializing in assembly systems, you will play a central role in engineering solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and equipment performance. Working within our engineering team in Curitiba, you will apply your technical expertise to create reliable, cost-effective assembly systems that meet the exacting standards of Bosch Group's global operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, model, and detail assembly system components and configurations using industry-standard CAD tools
• Develop comprehensive technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for assembly equipment
• Collaborate with production, manufacturing, and engineering teams to define design requirements and validate solutions
• Analyze feasibility, performance, and cost factors to optimize designs for manufacturability and operational efficiency
• Support prototyping, testing, and commissioning of assembly systems in production environments
• Identify and resolve technical challenges through iterative design improvements and engineering analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Professional experience designing or supporting assembly systems, manufacturing equipment, or related mechanical systems
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, or equivalent design platforms
• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, industrial processes, and systems design
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and cross-functional teams
