Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vision Systems Designer to develop, design, and implement innovative machine vision platforms and systems. In this full-time position based in Curitiba, you will be responsible for translating complex technical requirements into robust vision system architectures, ensuring seamless integration with industrial automation environments. This role combines systems thinking with hands-on technical problem-solving to deliver solutions that enhance production efficiency and product quality for Bosch's manufacturing footprint worldwide.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop vision system specifications, including camera selection, lens configuration, lighting strategies, and image processing workflows
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and engineering stakeholders to understand quality and inspection requirements, then translate these into technical system designs
• Create detailed technical documentation, system schematics, and implementation guides for vision-based automation projects
• Evaluate and select appropriate hardware components and software frameworks to meet performance, reliability, and cost objectives
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototyping to validate vision system concepts before full-scale deployment
• Support integration efforts to ensure vision systems interface correctly with production line equipment and data collection infrastructure
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and recommend optimizations to improve accuracy and processing speed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Demonstrated experience designing or implementing machine vision or industrial imaging systems
• Solid understanding of image processing principles, optics fundamentals, and lighting design for inspection applications
• Proficiency with vision system development tools and platforms commonly used in industrial automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams
• Fluency in Portuguese and English required
