[EEC] Automotive AUTOSAR Base SW Developer

Bosch Group is seeking an Automotive AUTOSAR Base Software Developer for our Ho Chi Minh engineering office in Tan Binh Ward, Vietnam. This is a full-time position focused on developing embedded base software platforms for automotive applications.

About the Role

As an Automotive AUTOSAR Base Software Developer at Bosch Group, you will design and implement foundational software modules within the AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) framework. Your work will support the development of reliable, standardized middleware and drivers that enable advanced automotive electronic control systems. You'll contribute to projects spanning multiple vehicle platforms and powertrain architectures, working within an established engineering team in our Ho Chi Minh facility.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AUTOSAR-compliant base software components, including communication stacks, diagnostic modules, and runtime environments
• Write embedded C code for microcontroller platforms, following automotive safety and quality standards
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance across different hardware targets
• Collaborate with system architects and hardware teams to integrate software modules into automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units)
• Document software designs, architecture decisions, and implementation details according to project and AUTOSAR specifications
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the engineering group

What You Bring

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
• Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR standards and base software development, or equivalent embedded automotive software background
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, or similar) and real-time operating systems
• Experience with microcontroller programming, debugging tools, and version control systems
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with automotive standards
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
