Role Overview
We're seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support our diverse, evolving workforce and contribute directly to our company's success. In this role, you'll own the complete employee lifecycle—from recruitment and integration through engagement, development, and retention—while ensuring compliance with applicable employment regulations. Your work will span multiple HR disciplines, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution as you strengthen our organizational foundation and foster workplace excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to source, interview, and recruit talent across departments, managing the end-to-end hiring process
- Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs that set new employees up for success and embed company culture
- Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, performance matters, and conflicts with professionalism and fairness
- Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll programs in coordination with Finance and management teams
- Ensure HR policies and workplace practices comply with Quebec employment standards and applicable legislation
- Design and implement programs that strengthen employee engagement, career development, and organizational retention
- Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and reporting systems to support informed business decisions
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, talent acquisition, or related human resources function
- Strong working knowledge of Quebec employment law and federal workplace regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English and French; bilingual professionals valued
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise independent judgment
- Genuine interest in supporting employee development, workplace culture, and organizational growth
- Familiarity with HR information systems and standard office software; HR management platform experience an asset
- Discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive, confidential information
