Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential health technology organization in their search for a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer based in Paris, France. This growing company serves enterprise and public sector clients, and we're seeking an experienced professional to strengthen their customer acquisition efforts through technical expertise and consultative selling.

This role requires you to be based in Paris or the Île-de-France region, with flexibility to travel on short notice for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Master the platform and enable the sales team with insights, expertise, and relevant tools
• Listen to and understand prospects' needs, working internally to determine optimal solutions
• Build thorough understanding of prospects and assess functional alignment with offerings
• Participate in RFP submissions and build responses in collaboration with sales, insurance, and product experts
• Join the customer acquisition journey to evangelize services and products
• Act as voice of the customer, feeding platform roadmap development
• Prepare handovers for seamless customer onboardings
• Coordinate complex customer onboardings leveraging unique knowledge of requirements and specificities
• Actively participate in developing and scaling this growing function

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment
• At least 3 years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solution Consultant role
• Talent for quickly identifying root causes of customer concerns through active listening and requirements elicitation
• Assertiveness and ability to handle objections in complex environments
• Mastery of pitching products with transparency without overselling capabilities
• Ability to break down complex issues and identify product gaps to define optimal solutions
• Excellence at high-level stakeholder management
• Strong prioritization skills while consistently meeting commitments
• Passion for teamwork with eagerness to learn and grow
• Fluency in both French and English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with end-to-end procurement projects (buyer or supplier side) including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
• Experience in the French Public Sector
• Experience with HRIS ecosystems and Payroll solutions
• Experience in insurance or health platforms
